Hi, I am new, my name is Lorraine. My etsy shop name is Trinitydj (www.trinitydj.etsy.com), I create beadwoven jewellery. I am also a member of Etsy Beadweavers. I loaded 8 photo's to start with. No offense on the shipping, I also have beautiful boxes, ribbons, cards etc and ship with confirmation,I add my packaging costs into my item prices.
I hope you are buying in bulk and wholesale. I buy my boxes from Premier Packaging online, I get 100 boxes from 25- $32.00 dollars. You should add a photo of your finished package to ad interest.

Thanks ladies! I value your advice. Boy, I have a lot of work to do! First, I didn't realize my photos were too dark -- I used a light box and when I used both lights; they were too bright.

Yes, the .99 should be a solid figure -- I was advised to use 12.99; 25.99, etc . . . so, it could look more reasonable, but personally I don't really like it. As for the shipping; I find it VERY reasonable considering I paid good money for elegant black boxes, bubble envelopes, so yes, it does add up and I prefer NOT to cut into my profit. This is a BIG investment, and I can't afford to lose $, also Confirmation Delivery is included in that shipping fee. I would not want to send my items without this feature, because if it gets lost; I'm the person responsible. I've done my research and yes, I would be responsible.

I have no clue how to create a banner and I don't know what Avatar is -- I'm a newbie. I'm still in the learning process. Thank you for all of your help -- I appreciate it.

I checked out your Etsy shop, just keep in mind, that Etsy is a hard venue to sell on, there's lots of competition. I noticed you do not have a banner, your avitar could be more eye catching, maybe use a closeup of your purple moon goddess earrings, spice it up! Choose a consistent background and snap your photos like you love your pieces. Check out similar shops to see if your pricing is ok. What is with the .99 cents? Are you in California? if you are, you might want to add that in location. Check your descriptions, some still have Halloween references. Try to relist one item daily so you come up in searches, then promote promote promote!
I would remove any reference to expense in my shop intro and last, your shipping is a bit high, earrings in a box with paperwork weighs about 1.5 to 3 oz's, in my zone the average cost is $1.58.
You have fun cute pieces, online is a tough venue. Good Luck and happy sales!
