I am the same way! I get way too caught up in the bead store and buy before I really know what I am going to do with the pieces (I might have some idea but not complete) and so now I limit my spending to only one project at a time. Bead swaps at t...

October Beading-October 13-2009

My thoughts....
I love to buy new beads, but I have this feeling that I am beginning to accumulate too many beads. I'm sorta like a bead junky. Thus my new goal is to create with what I already have.

This is where my creativity is at its best. I usually design a necklace that I would like to wear. This is a hobby and passion and so it should be something I like first.

I would love to spend big bucks on beautiful gems just to create something magnificent....but reality tells me I could not sell… Continue

You're too sweet. I am still new at wire-work myself and am still learning so much.

I bought a bunch of wire-wrap books, subscribed to Step-byStep Wire jewelry magazine, and joined some Yahoo groups on Wire-wrapping.

I do love your work. I am not good at wire crochet or intricate stuff like that. I love your 4th picture, the green and copper. Beautiful!

As to Chicago, my husband is from here and he wanted to make this our home when we got engaged. I said yes and here I am 15 years later. I really miss Alabama.
