When I was a little girl we had this wonderful backyard that overlooked a pond and had lots of trees to climb, a large vegetable garden, lots of flowers, and a stone fireplace where the family had cookouts all summer long. My dad put in a swimming pool so he could keep track of all of us and so we had a tall f…

My thoughts....
I love to buy new beads, but I have this feeling that I am beginning to accumulate too many beads. I'm sorta like a bead junky. Thus my new goal is to create with what I already have.
This is where my creativity is at its best. I usually design a necklace that I would like to wear. This is a hobby and passion and so it should be something I like first.
I would love to spend big bucks on beautiful gems just to create something magnificent....but reality tells me I could not sell…

I will probably be very busy with my real job--teaching 3 year olds...with all the Halloween fun!
But I have many projects in the works and need to be finished.
My interest lately has been seed beading. I am making a necklace using the Twisted Tubular Herringbone stitch using brown and black. I went to a bead show in Atlanta several weeks ago and found a drop pendant that is reversable (sorta leopardy print) I hope it turns out as well as I've imagined it.
I'm also using some beautiful chain w…

I have merged 3 blogs into one. I'm testing out moving in a new direction. I have no idea how it will work or if I will end up putting everything back to the way it was. We'll see.

I keep business cards on me at all times and drop them off in the most unusual places...like a bathroom stall. Does anyone create their own or buy designs?? Thanks for considering!!

To all METAL fans, how do you add patina to your metal designs?
Liver of Sulphur? Bleach? Ammonium? Fire? Boiled Eggs???
Also, how do you do RAINBOW effect patina??
How do you 'preserve' your colors? Polish? Lacquer?
Thanks for considering!

Hello,
What's the best way to accept
CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS off-line,,,say at a fair, jewelry party...in other words, in person?? I have an Art Fair coming up and I don't want to block sales because I'm not set-up to accept cards.
Personally, I've not made a purchase because the merchant did not accept Visa, as I did not have any cash on me nor checks.
Also, what's been your experience w/accepting checks?? Thanks for considering!!
